The DP2-BX-1, Dual Pentium-II / III Single-board Computer utilizes a
revolutionary space saving design to adapt dual Slot-1 Pentium-II / III
processors horizontally, making it the most compact Dual Processor Single
Board Computer in the World.
With dual processor support up to 600MHz and higher, up to 1GB SDRAM
and ECC support for both main memory and L2 Cache on processor, the DP2-BX-1
has enough computing power for your most demanding power intensive
applications.
Designed to meet the PICMG 2.0 Industrial Standard, the
DP2-BX-1 will work with legacy ISA backplanes, as well as PCI/ISA, and
with built-in ISA MAX, supports ISA add on up to 20 boards.
The DP2-BX-1 advanced features include Flash ROM BIOS for easily
updating system BIOS, two USB ports and watchdog timer with Y2K Compliant
Real Time Clock.
The DP2-BX-1 also has a reserved socket for Disk-On-Chip
Flash memory (up to 144MB). Compact Windows NT can be stored inside the
Disk-On-Chip for booting the system directly.
The DP2-BX-1 utilizes a built-in fault-tolerant system
architecture for both dual & single processor environments:

- Remaining CPU takes over all tasks, and resumes the ongoing
mission after system reset by watchdog timer

Single Processor Environment:
- If primary CPU fails the secondary CPU will take over all tasks
after system reset by watchdog timer
